Les Saoudiennes veulent rouler vers leur émancipation

Les femmes en Occident ne peuvent s’imaginer vivre sans conduire leur auto. Pourtant, en Arabie Saoudite, les femmes qui osent conduire risquent leur vie. Les Saoudiennes qui militent pour le droit de conduire prennent à nouveau le volant ce samedi 26 octobre, défiant les autorités du royaume qui donnent pour la première fois des signes d'ouverture, malgré l'opposition des ultra-religieux.

The women from Saudi Arabia want to drive towards their emancipation

The women from the Eastern world cannot imagine their life without being able to drive a car. Nevertheless, in Saudi Arabia, those who dare to drive a car are doing so at the risk of their life. These women will be driving today as a measure of protest against authorities that seem to show some understanding. But, the religious leaders are still firmly opposed to women getting behind the wheel.
