Déjà menacés par les algues toxiques, les espèces envahissantes et la pollution industrielle, les Grands Lacs font maintenant face à un nouveau danger: des millions de petites particules de plastique, certaines si minuscules qu'elles ne sont visibles qu'avec un microscope.

Already under the threat of algae, invading species and industrial pollution, the Great lakes are facing another danger: millions of tiny plastic particles, some so small that they are only visible under a microscope.
