Le Soleil réchauffe la Terre qui, de son côté, émet des rayons infrarouges de grande longueur d’onde dans l'atmosphère. Les gaz à effet de serre absorbent ces rayons de chaleur et en réfléchissent une partie sur la surface de la Terre. Plus le taux de CO2 augmente, plus la chaleur augmente. Ce serait pire si un agent de purification n’avait pas travaillé aussi fort pour renverser les effets de l’invention de l’auto. La végétation a absorbé 190 milliards de tonnes de CO2 au 20e siècle

The Sun is heating the Earth that, in turn, emits infrared rays in the atmosphere. The greenhouse gases absorb these heat rays and reflect some of them back on the Earth. As the level of CO2 increases, the heat also increases. It would be worst if a source of air purification had not worked hard to reverse the effects of the invention of the automobile. The vegetation has absorbed 190 billion tons of CO2 during the 20^th century.
